Congratulations to all recipients in the Australia Day 2016 Honours List.

There were many classical musicians recipients, including:

Mr Andrew Alexander BRIGER, Rose Bay, NSW
For distinguished service to the arts, particularly to orchestral music performance as a leading conductor, and as founder of the Australian World Orchestra.

Ms Carolyn Jan BOWEN, Mosman, NSW
For significant service to the performing arts, particularly to youth orchestral music performance, and to the community.

Congratulations also to Australian saxophonist Amy Dickson who was awarded UK Young Australian Achiever of the Year Award. The award, presented by the Australia Day Foundation, recognises exceptional Australians sharing the spirit of Australia in the UK.
