Believe in Love ... this wonderfully presented recital of rarities. The presentation and notes are quite outstanding. I doubt that many people would be familiar with most of the content and all praise to the artists for their research into this repertoire. Obscure arias from Gounod’s Sapho and La Reine de Saba, and Chatterton by Leoncavallo do not trip off the tongue in any discussion about operas.

There are two of their lesser-heard arias from Giordano’s passionate Andrea Chenier and Cilea’s quite wonderful Adriana Lecouvreur although I think you might be quite familiar with this from Tebaldi's recording.
